Distress Tolerance Study 1

We will soon be seeking adult smokers who are highly interested in quitting to participate in a 2-visit study examining the relation between the ability to tolerate distress and early quit experienced. Participants will receive $100 in compensation.

Distress Tolerance Study 2

We are currently seeking adults between the ages of 18 and 45 to participate in a brief laboratory study examining the relation between mental health and the ability to tolerate distress. Participation requires just one visit to the lab during which you will complete several tasks and questionaires. For a brief description of our goals please see "Projects" under the "Research" tab above.


The total length of the study is 1 hour and 45 minutes and participants will recieve $15 in compensation. The study will take place on the 5th floor of Tillett Hall on Livingston Campus at Rutgers University. For directions see tab above.
